When my daughter and her dear friend and i had a reunion after a long absence due to the pandemic, we celebrated with pie at Emporium Pies. The sheer joy of laughing and talking together inspired my painting. I worked from photos that I took and used Arches paper, Daniel Smith watercolor and my favorite Black Velvet brushes to develop the work.
