Plein Air Southwest 2022
After painting this tanker standing at a marine dock for approximately 5 hours; around 9 pm, I decided to paint a nocturne of the same tanker and place them side by side in the competition. Note: while painting this, I never referred to the daytime original. I stayed until past 3 am; very eerie and the terminal was still active. It cooled down finally but still windy and dusty. Nocturnes en plein air are magical. Praise God!
