Sunflowers and Sunlight, for Ukraine

Though Ukraine is in the throes of war, I wanted to express my prayer for peace in that country by painting its national flower. I wanted to paint it with energy, hope and life that I pray will return for all Ukrainians. Acrylic was my choice for its pure color, brightness of intensity, and capacity to evoke joy through purity.
