Atlanta Skyline from Kennesaw Mountain

This is one of the spectacular views from Kennesaw Mountain towards downtown Atlanta on an early spring day. The trees and vegetation still carried the winter brown and had not yet broken out in their new season of green growth. The heavy grey overcast clouds were beginning to breakup and the blue sky was starting to peak through. The distant landscape including the farms and cities between the mountain and the Atlanta skyline were just starting to become visible. The distance to downtown Atlanta from this view on Kennesaw Mountain is approximately 23 miles.
