A Place of Refuge

This drawing was inspired by Psalm 46 which says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We, as humans, are so fragile, but we are also tenacious. Each of us has gone through storms, but we come through stronger than before. It never feels like strength in the midst of grief or pain but, like a silver lining, hope is a balm. It is also a sweet relief to lean on the One who is stronger, especially when it feels like the earth around us is crumbling into the sea.
