France across the Lake

I painted with acrylics on a rough board support with a palette knife. I am partial to palette knife because of the textures when one pulls the paint over the surface of the support. I use the acrylics straight from the tube, dragthe color over the surface and watch the colors meld and mingle as the knife slides across. I visited with a family in
France who took me to a lake for a picnic. Across the lake was a village tucked into the trees. This painting came from that experience, no photo.
